Richie leads development on TerraNet, the platform where Terra's scientists and customers explore, analyze, and make decisions with its subsurface models. He has over eight years of software engineering and leadership experience at deep tech startups in climate, biotech, and national defense. As a founding engineer at Nori, he helped scale the company into a carbon credit marketplace that processed millions of dollars in transactions. He co-authored gene therapy research at the Salk Institute, and most recently built mission management software for the Space Force at Integrate. He was also the first graduate to receive a B.A. in Computer Science from Whitman College.
